Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue Scholarships
We understand that not everyone can afford program fees. Therefore, we have set aside scholarship funding for those who need assistance. If approved, your scholarship can cover anywhere from 20% - 90% of program fees.
Scholarships must be renewed every school year, renewal begins April 1st of each calendar year.
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a current member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue and meet the family size/income requirements set by our organization. Please note, our household income requirements are proprietary and cannot be shared externally.
Please note if paperwork is not completed within 60 days of registration you will be unenrolled from programming, which means your child/ren will be unable to attend the club.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT FOR A MEMBERSHIP UNTIL YOUR SCHOLARSHIP HAS BEEN AWARDED. YOU CAN DEFER ANY MEMBERSHIP OR PROGRAM FEES BY SELECTING “PAY AT CLUB” DURING CHECKOUT.
A scholarship application alone does not register the participant, nor does it reserve space in a program. You will be notified via email once your scholarship has been reviewed. Please allow a minimum of 10 – 14 business days for the scholarship process to be completed.
How do I apply?
Please download the Scholarship Checklist available below and complete our online scholarship application (link below):

Can I register for a Program before my scholarship is approved?
Yes, however, in the event circumstances prevent your scholarship from being approved prior to your child’s program start date, please note you will be financially responsible for any fees that are not covered within the scholarship awarded.
A scholarship application alone does not register the participant, nor does it reserve space in a program. You will be notified via email once your scholarship has been reviewed. Please allow a minimum of 10 – 14 business days for the scholarship process to be completed.
Once your scholarship is awarded, the assistance level will be assigned to the members profile and will automatically be reflected on your parent portal and the fees for the “current scholarship year” will be adjusted. Your scholarship will be approved from the date of application, no retro scholarships will be awarded under any circumstance.
What funding is accepted if I do not qualify for a scholarship?
We currently accept funding through BrightSpark Early Learning Services (formerly Child Care Resources), unfortunately we are not able to accept funding through King County Best Start for Kids or DSHS.
Are there fees my scholarship does not cover?
Each child participating in a Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue program will need a current membership. Memberships are current for 1 year from your purchase date. Membership fees, materials fees, field trip fees, and late pick up fees are charges not coverable under the scholarship.

Parent Quote:
"I just wanted to let you know that my children attend the Project Learn program at the South Bellevue Community Center, and I couldn’t be happier with the program.
Every time I pick up my children they are smiling and having a great time. The staff are fun, engaging and very professional. I can’t say enough for their efforts.
My son just started Kindergarten this year, and my daughter is in 4th grade, and your staff are absolutely wonderful about making them both feel comfortable. They tell me all about the fun activities they do every day.
As a former employee of the Bellevue School District as a teacher in the afterschool program I know the challenges they face every day, and I want to commend your organization and staff for an absolutely wonderful program.
Thank you so much for your invaluable services. I wouldn’t feel comfortable at work without your help and support."
